do-goodery
What's your cause?
Everybody needs a cause. We all need something that we are passionate about, that fires us up, that compels us to make space and time for acts intended to transform the world for better. Our causes aren't static, and it's totally fine for something to catch our attention more at different stages and phases of our lives. For some, a zest for rescuing abused animals may stem from the unconditional love they feel for their beloved shelter pets. For others, a cause may come from a loved one's experience with a devastating disease, an alternative Spring Break trip in college to an impoverished community, or the indigestion that comes after seeing the documentary King Corn. Whatever drives you is cool, as long as its for the better.
"Have a Good Day" Calendar
You know how there are all those quirky unofficial "national" days on the calendar each year? Stuff like National Plum Pudding Day? (My roommates and I had a poster hanging in our dorm room in college - 365 Reasons to Party) Well, the "Have a Good Day" Calendar acknowledges a month's worth of National Days, and adds a suggestion for how to turn selected National Days into opportunities for doing good (you can still party though - goodness and partying aren't mutually exclusive). Click on the button to download the FREE "Have a Good Day" calendar for April 2015. If you want to receive an updates for future months, subscribe to our weekly Good Letter.
And don't forget - share your #gooddays on social media and help the goodness multiply. |
